ORGANIC VIRGIN WALNUT OIL - VIELCROZE

This oil is slightly amber, Monbazillac color, with a toasted taste, very pure, very pleasant on the palate.
It immediately charms with the power of its bouquet, just like the Périgord terroir.
Heating allows the aromas of the fruit to be released while preserving its nutritional and taste qualities.
The kernels are ground by a 450 kg stone mill from the Bord plain.
Once the kernel is crushed, we obtain a delicate and homogeneous paste which is kneaded and heated slowly at 60°C for about 1/2 hour in a cast iron pan.
The paste thus heated is then pressed using a press cast in Souillac (46) in 1892.
Under a pressure of 32 tons exerted by the press head, the walnut oil flows and fills the mill with its unique and subtle fragrance.
It is then decanted for a few days and then bottled without additives or preservatives.
After opening the bottle you have between 15 and 18 months to consume it.
Practical information: Store the oil away from light and at room temperature.

It is naturally a source of essential fatty acids, particularly Omega 3 and Omega 6.

Simple to use, a simple dash of our organic Périgord walnut oil will delight the most demanding palates before serving your mashed potatoes , a plate of rice , a pasta dish or white beans .
